丁幸豪生于上海，是前上海国际问题研究所研究员美国研究室主任，前上海市美国学会会长和中华美国学会副会长，曾兼任上海对外贸易学院国际经济与贸易研究所所长。他长期从事国际关系与美国问题研究工作。1981年去美国布鲁金斯学会进修美国外交与安全政策及其决策机制。1984年、1985年任美国霍布金斯大学高级国际问题研究院（SAIS）客座研究员。此后，丁幸豪与美国大学和思想库建立了广泛的学术交流关系。1988年5月至7月任美国加州大学伯克利分校国际问题研究所访问学者，1990年10月至1991年5月又先后任美国加州大学伯克利分校东亚研究所和布鲁金斯学会访问学者。同时丁幸豪还曾先后访问普林斯顿大学、哥伦比亚大学、哈佛大学费正清中国研究中心、史丹福大学、威斯康星大学、迈阿密大学、芝加哥大学，伊利诺伊大学、塔夫兹大学弗莱彻外交学院、蒙特里国际关系学院、迪更森学院、以及日内瓦高级国际问题研究院等著名学府讲学或做讲座。

丁幸豪在国内外就美国国内政治和外交政策和中美关系发表论文百余篇，其中包括美国历届政府的中美关系、美国对华政策、美苏关系、中美日三角关系、美国霸权、世界格局转型期中的美国对外政策，著有《冷战后的美国》和《中美关系新思维和新概念》。

 

 

DING Xinghao

 

Ding Xinghao was former senior fellow and director of the American Studies Department, Shanghai Institute of International Studies. He was concurrently director of Institute of International Economy and Trade, Shanghai University of Foreign Trade. Professor Ding has had extensive interactions with US foreign policy communities with various exchange programs over the past thirty five years, including visiting scholarships at the Brookings Institution in 1981, at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University from 1984 to 1985, at the Institute of International Studies of U.C. Berkeley in 1988, at the Institute of East Asian Studies of University of California at Berkeley in 1990, and at the Brookings Institution again in 1991.

 

His writings have been published both in China and abroad on American domestic and foreign policies, Sino-US relations, US relations with the former Soviet Union, and China-US-Japan triangle. His publications include Post Cold War America and New Ideas and Concepts in Sino-US Relations (co-editor). He has also authored numerous articles such as The Sino-American Relationship: A Chinese Perspective after Tiananmen Square (English), Economic Sanctions-A Legacy of the Cold War (English), Managing Sino-US Relations in a Changing World (English), Domestic and Foreign Policies of the Clinton Administration, American Foreign Policies in a Transitional World Pattern, Cross Strait Relations: Present and Tomorrow, Sino-US Relations and its strategic Basis, and American Hegemony: How Far will it go (co-author).

 

Ding Xinghao was also former vice chairman of the Chinese Association For American Studies and president of the Shanghai Association of American Studies.
