STUDIES OF SINO-U.S. RELATIONS IN AMERICA(1969-1992) Zi Zhongyun and Ji Hong（50） Studies in the United States of the history and current situation of the Sino-U.S. relationship began in the late 1960s. Considerable progress has been made along with the continuing improvement of the relationship since then. A large number of books and articles have been published, covering political, military, economic and cultural aspects of the subject. There are also comparative studies dealing with mutual images and conceptual frameworks. This paper aims at deepening the understanding and studying of Sino-U.S. relations by way of reviewing these studies.
